AC Cobra
Being a car guy myself, tasked with creating something that is auto-related is quite exciting. This piece is dedicated to the AC Cobra that Caroll Shelby made famous by shoving a giant 427 motor into a small frame and letting it loose on a race track. The rest is history. I dug up some old ads to add another layer of interest and drew the car over top of a heavily textured wood panel. Throw in a few hand painted logos and type and you have an interesting piece of art any car guy (or gal) will appreciate. Mixed media on 8’ x 48” x 2” wood panel finished in varnish.
